#linux question: anyone out there create fine art photography prints using linux? I'm thinking about buying a printer to begin creating photo prints

looking at a canon pro-310, but concerned I won't be able to use it to it's full capacity without #windows or #mac

any guidance appreciated!

@jwiggler I think it is not worth owning and maintaining your own printer. I like whitewall printing service.

@foolman thanks! I enjoy having total control over my photographic output, so I try to avoid sending things off to other services -- I develop and scan film at home, so I wanted to add printing to that home process. I ended up with an epson et-8550 and it has been working wonderfully so far.
