The Joys of Journalling:

- put thought in place that isn't head. this makes space in head for other things!  

- future self flip back and look at past. haha! past me! so silly. or perhaps… angry. or…   …prophetic.

- fondle paper. blank paper feel good, but paper covered in writing? flip through???? nnngh yes very good, A+ tactile soothing 😍

I relented and started printing out photos on my little portable photo printer that I've had for ages and ages. I'm cutting out tiny pictures and pasting them into empty squares on the underused monthly pages of my planner. I'm not a big photo-taker by today's standards, but even a scattering of pictures in a month makes the page look really cute, and gives the paper a bit more firmness as you flip through, which provides some good tactile gratification.

the internet: Buy Our Stickers and use them to layer over all of the printed matter in your planner to recreate the existing setup but Colour Coordinated! Additionally slap a bunch of washi tape and doodads that are Extremely Matchy-Matchy! Then you can be like all of the Short Form Video Content!

me: I hear you on stickers, but what if I stuck them all over willy-nilly and they didn't match at all, either with each other or the colours that are already printed on the page
