#adramalunies2026 Day 4: favorite guilty pleasure

It’s been over a year since I saw it, but the first thing that came to mind was #BrideOfHaBaek ( 하백의 신부). I binged it really quickly and the whole time I was thinking “This is ridiculous why am I enjoying it so much?” Have to rewatch it someday to find out if it was just my mood that weekend or it really is my “guilty” pleasure #Kdrama 😛

@jcurries now I'm quite intrigued by this picture 😅, probably because of it, I will add it to my plan to watch list

Looks like a fun one. Reminds me a little bit of Genie Make a Wish, which I would say was my guilty pleasure. I enjoy watching both lead actors so much that I cheerfully ignored how bizarre the plot was. Last year's similar pleasure was When the Stars Gossip. Watched that with a watch group so that we could all react together to how nonsensical most of it was.

Perfect pick for guilty pleasure!
I watched #BrideOfHabaek early in my kdrama journey because it stars Shin Sae Kyeong, who I loved in "Run-On" and I agreed that it wasn't *good* but I also had to finish it? Nam Joo Hyuk is Habaek and a fish-out-of-water deity that gets stuck surrounded by mortals.

I am both happy and sad that the over-the-top costuming only occurred in episode 1.

My fave character was Gong Myung's mischievous evil-doer with heart. #kdrama

@JillsJoy #BrideOfHabaek was one of my first #kDrama as well. Modern, fantasy, historical, romance, mystery, comedy all in one, a likable cast/characters and an easy watch. Probably my favorite Nam Joo Hyuk look as God Habaek.

@Fanua that look was very 1980s glam rock!
