Another new @bjango app and still no love for Snowflake. 😢
@gregatron5 Sorry! Are there any specific features you’d like, or bugs you’d like fixed? Thanks.

@bjango I think just working would be a good feature. This is what I see when I raise my wrist, and it stays like this until the watch goes to sleep again. (Series 10, latest OS)

When I installed the complication it showed the correct temperature. A few hours later it showed the temperature from when it loaded (tapping the complication updated it). Now, several more hours later, it shows what you see below.

@gregatron5 Thanks. You’re right and we’ve let it slip into a bad state. The server side is working well (shared with iStat Menus), but the apps themselves need a lot of work. Sorry.
@bjango I already subscribe to iStat Menus. If/when Snowflake gets back on its feet, I'll resubscribe to that, too.
@gregatron5 Worth noting that the complication background updating requires Snowflake Plus (the sub). This is because of the higher costs to us to fetch weather data more frequently. This means for people who are not using Snowflake Plus, their complication won’t update.
@gregatron5 And yes, from a user experience point of view, that sucks. But, I do not think it is possible for us to just offer the complication for Snowflake Plus customers. Everyone gets it, or nobody gets it. That’s just how watchOS works, unfortunately.
@gregatron5 Which of course means things appear like they have for you — people think Snowflake is buggy or broken, but the complication is working as expected. It’s just that the expected behaviour isn’t great. I don’t know how we solve that.

@bjango I get that and can see your point. A message anywhere in the app would help, or even in the watch app somewhere.

That said, would a sub help with slow loading? It took over 4 seconds to launch when I tapped the complication (Series 10). Weather took under a second.

Also, a bit more info on some of the wider complications (like Photos) would be nice. Too bad my iStat sub doesn't carry over :/

@gregatron5 Yep. I definitely agree the watch loading is slow and the app overall could be a lot, lot better.
