'Hate' For Musk Quickly Narrows Jury Pool In Twitter Deal Trial - Law360

A California federal judge quickly narrowed a pool of 92 prospective jurors Thursday in a class action brought by former Twitter investors against Elon Musk, excusing 38 potential jurors who said they couldn't be fair and impartial as Musk's attorney lamented there are "so many people who hate him so much."

@taylorlorenz OK, but... I don't see how they're obliged to find people who have no opinion of his antics, anymore than they'd be obliged to find a jury of people with no opinion on murder for such a trial?

I mean sure, jurors should not know the suspect or victim personally, but this guy very deliberately injected himself in everyone's lives & also keeps breaking the law - and then all those chickens come home to roost & suddenly that's the legal system's problem? Isn't it kinda what you get?
