Overview Big Island is the name of an unincorporated county and associated township located immediately to the west of the City of Marion in Marion County, Ohio. Located on the rural fringe of Marion, the township is most directly accessible by way of Route 309 from east to west and Prospect-Upper Sandusky Road from north to south.
