crimini@foundseed Hey there, we have had no recent reports for accounts on fosstodon and there are currently no limits on that server. Is there something we should be aware of?
@crimini I've seen some rather aggressive AI apologia coming from there yesterday, and then back in april, the admins were outed as neocons. They stepped down but not before hand picking the new mod team. All white people.
I'm not advocating defed, just a limit, because that just sounds like a nonsense cocktail to me, on par with m.s

@foundseed their moderation policies are really thoughtful on paper and they seem to have a large and active mod team... is this a case of specific users needing to be blocked instead of limiting an instance? We'd appreciate those links to articles/blogs so we can review further
@crimini unfortunately, the instance culture is permeated with the kind of "hard to pinpoint" behavior, like aggressive AI apologism, from large accounts like Adafruit, that isn't itself dangerous but indicative of an unhealthy environment and potential for future harm.
