You cannot end U.S. hunger for anything like $10 billion a year. I've seen estimates that we could eliminate ~90% of remaining food insecurity with a ~$400B/yr UBI program. I'm not saying we should or shouldn't do it; I'm saying the tweet is off by a factor of 40 at least.

The $38 billion ICE number in the tweet, though, is accurate (but a one-time expenditure vs. the hypothetical annual ones). Abolish ICE.
