@jgilbert I am being snarky about the recent Doctorow piece where he characterizes refusal to use LLMs as "neoliberal purity culture" and insists that if you do not use LLMs you are "fucked", which really made me lose a lot of respect for him. (In fairness, he's talking about local LLM models and not the big startup-backed services, but I still think it's a disingenuous and gross argument.)
