This is a small trifle (I've done "a few" bigger projects), but a week ago I heard Tito Muñoz conduct the New York Philharmonic in a wonderful community concert, including a piece called "Tumbao" by Roberto Sierra. This gave me an idea to write out a "Tumbao" from my childhood -- I give you Tumbao-la-laika!
