@thevhswizard Ah, not a great comparison for me I'm afraid. As far as I'm concerned stickmen are ubiquitous, but a fellow comic artist claimed to have received a legal threat from him back in the day - of the stop drawing stickmen or else variety - so I'm a bit twitchy about that. The 'yaaay' is a throwback to the early noughties on the b3ta website (which is also where said artist posted). Hopefully it was an overenthusiastic copyright lawyer rather than him personally.
@eclectech That would be my hope, I was incredibly active in the trenches of the webcomic scene from 1999 thru around 2013 and coexisted with a ton of stick figure comic creators and never heard anything like that. Then again, my expectations for most of humanity are plummeting as I go, so I would totally believe it.

Sorry, I should have said that first, as I assumed it was a good thing 😁 Funny how that old memory jumped to the fore - haven't thought about it in an age - but we all got very angry about it 😆 If it happened now I would question the details more, but a couple of decades of experience does that for you.
