On this day 8 years ago I had an early version of wezterm in a decent enough shape that I was considering using it as a daily driver for real work. I don't recall how well that stuck in that first week!

I can tell from the washed out color in the screenshot that it was before I had learned to whisper the words of power that enabled SRGB.

I can't believe it's been 8 years already.

@wez Thank you for all the work you have done on wezterm. It has been my daily driver for a few years now.
@wez I've been using it for 2 of those years! I've tried a number of other terminals, but the ease of configuration, the built-in mux capabilities, and the breadth of keyboard customizations keep it as my daily driver. No other terminal comes close.
@wez Thanks for putting wezterm out into the world! :-)
@wez thank you for building it, use it daily and love it :)
@wez thank you for your hard work. 👏🏽 I used WezTerm for years on Linux, until it stopped being compatible with Fedora.
@wez I recently started using wezterm (about 2 weeks ago). I've been having a blast configuring and using it all throughout. Coming from tmux, I think it's really straightforward, and incredibly usable. I mean, ridiculously so. Thanks!!
