I mean, in my state, they just voted near unanimously in the House to not recognize our marriages, they attacked our trans kids and obliterated their rights, they're about to legislate against the Bostock Act, AND make it illegal to have pride in June and pride flags in public. Biden said he had our backs.... and that was bs. Imo protecting pride flags at national parks while states like mine are allowed to "poof" us out of our rights and existence while the federal laws still exist in this moment, seems more important????? JS......it's weak and one more way dems fail us. All of us. And my state isn't the only one. We're getting hammered over here.... but yeah, let's protect flags at national parks so flags can exist while us queers I guess will have to go to national parks to exist and breathe. #lgbtq #blackLGBTQ #lgbtqrightsNOW #lgbtqrights4ever

I swear, this is one of the weakest and most ineffectual responses to the current assault on rights I can imagine.
We (queers) deserve more than bare minimum from those who accepted the position of representing us and fighting for us. Feeding us scraps will not get our loyalty votes. Nor our respect. From any of them, regardless of political party.
