Cannot view comments any more - Lemmy.World

Hi, ever since I migrated my database I cannot view any comments on posts. Connect still displays the number of comments on a post but not the comments themselves. What do? I’m on Android 16 with a Samsung Galaxy 25, if that helps.

Update: I’ve added the requested info in the original posting AND noticed that the problem only occurs with postings from instances other than lemmy.world (my instance).

Hi, within Settings can you go to the three dot menu (top right) then Report Bug and copy and paste the text that it prefills?

Done, see OP. I’ve also noticed that some comments are visible if they are on my instance (lemmy.world) but not all.

Are we getting closer to a solution? I’ve switched to the beta client in the meantime but no joy - still can’t see comments on most posts.

Is this still happening for you on v418? I can take more of a look if you are still seeing it.

OK, I finally fixed the issue by resetting my settings, clearing app cache & deleting all other app data. After a fresh login, I can now see and interact with comments again. Too bad I lost my list of blocked users & communities in the process.
