When the U.S. cuts funding for global internet freedom, dictators win. Without tools to dodge censorship, regimes in 🇨🇳 🇮🇷 🇷🇺 etc. can more easily silence dissent and trap citizens behind digital iron curtains. Democracy just got harder to defend.
