I laughed out loud at this response.
@augieray I have been rejoicing that Lent and Ramadan occur at more or less the same time. Does Judaism have a period of fasting? The religions coincide in so many other things like not killing, not stealing, not telling lies, not coveting your neighbour's stuff.

Ramadan (and all other Muslim holidays)'s dates drift by about 10 days every year because the Muslim calendar is an uncorrected lunar calendar.

It coincides with Lent this year and might for another year or two but does not usually match.

@gbargoud @augieray I apologise. I did not make it clear that I know that aspect. I still don't know whether there is a Judaic equivalence here as elsewhere with the other Abrahamic religions?
