Seeing how Google, Meta, and Reddit are voluntarily giving DHS information about anti-ICE accounts, it’s pretty important to build social media infrastructure outside the USA.

@[email protected] Bear in mind. Many services like Discord are hosted on Google cloud and Discord doesn't encrypt chats. Google could be giving DHS your discord chats and any other unencrypted data services put on their platform.
@atomicpoet unfortunately, laws being passed and considered in EU & UK seem designed to make it difficult for new players to enter the space without significant legal liability and/or expense right off the starting blocks.

I don't know how many different ways reddit can communicate to it's users that that regard them with contempt.

Their entire model exploits users they treat like garbage. Amazing.
