All this to say that if you don't like how developers do things, be constructive, not shitty in the way you are critical of them and for goodness sake, have real points that make sense when telling people things they should know and preferably, don't embarrass them in public like entitled bastards.
@NicksWorld It's really not that deep. Your friend didn't know how to act like an adult, that's all there is to it. If you're fine having your data exposed, all power to you, just don't expect others to be fine with it too.
@Elospeak He made it very clear that A, this was an alpha, and B, the problem has been fixed and that end to end incryption would be coming soon but that its not available yet because it requires set-up. I don't know how plainly he could have made it and frankly, his response was a very human response. People aren't dealing with microsoft, they're dealing with a person.
@NicksWorld This is not what alpha testing means. Alpha testing means that you should expect a rough, buggy program, but not a program which has absolutely no safety precautions. This is the kind of thing which is noticed and flagged during the very first private build.
