Oh my the French is bad. But they’re trying. (And I say this as an anglophone)

#NDPLeader #CDNPoli

Tanille is so smart. I hope she can at least play a role in the party moving forward. #NDPLeader #CDNPoli
Ok, Ari. Cool it with the hands, bro. 😆 #NDPLeader #CDNPoli

Yes, Heather, speak to me more about electoral reform. Everything we need to do starts there.

#NDPLeader #CDNPoli

Ari jumping on the PR train as well. 👏👏 #NDPLeader #CDNPoli
@crispius Avi right about the problem with communicating why the supply and support agreement was necessary (and positive). #ndpleader #cdnpoli
@Plumbert
Yes! It was so frustrating watching Jagmeet sit quietly while the Trudeau Liberals took the credit for the NDP’s policy wins.

@crispius

There are things I like about all the candidates; I think the NDP would be welled served by all of them contributing to moving the party forward regardless of who is in the leadership spot.

@RantingCanuck
Agreed. Typically the leadership candidates make up a good chunk of the party caucus. Only one of these folks (Heather) is a serving MP at the moment though.

@crispius i came away from the debate really impressed by Tanille.

Also quite unimpressed by Rob - he played the silly game about "X is the reason the NDP won't win again in Alberta" when the ANDP have been steadily increasing their vote share every election from well before they formed government to present, they just got the gift of a divided conservative movement midway through that steady growth.

@dragonfrog
Yeah, he didn’t really bring a lot to the table tonight beyond his standard talking points. His energy seems off.
