That’s funny, I was watching a video on Boston (the band/musician) last night and this was the exact example the OP used to describe his career trajectory. Within six years of deciding to become a musician he had a number one album. Exactly like saying ‘Im going to learn to skate’ then becoming so good at it so fast you wind up skating in the next olympics.
