Is it just me being thrown into a badly managed environment or is Ansible really that awful? ;)

Nothing this thing does makes immediate sense to me, which is rare.

@paralax I find Ansible quite nice. Our sysadmins work with it a lot and they seem fine

@acetylcholin as usual I'm not doing this by choice but by necessity. My customer has this setup and I can't do anything about that.

Personally I fortunately don't need any of this anyhow ;)

@acetylcholin it's somewhat bittersweet. The customer long ago transcended into a state so disorganized that they freely accept most of the thing I propose - and I like it!

It's also rare - in other projects I'm often told why I'm not allowed/able to do something :)
