This really begs the question: Keynote, what on earth happened? Why did you choose to ship what you shipped instead of something actually making use of the OpenAI APIs you already are plugged into and you're charging users a subscription for?

Is Apple so scared of AI potentially getting something wrong that they'll be mired in no man's land indefinitely, unable to ship anything meaningful?

@stroughtonsmith Apple AI is useless across the board. So many times it is so safe that you can't do anything with it. Other LLMs are overtaking Apple everywhere.

Not sure if you have seen Claude's Excel extension? It's very good. I tried their PowerPoint extension too and is getting there as well. This is what iWork should have had.

And now it doesn't. There's no point for me to use iWork anymore at this rate.
