I feel a bit like (some of) society is saying:

* Let's invest in kool-aid!

* It's really good for you, and you're going to like it

* Why wouldn't you want to drink it?

* You don't have to drink it, but it's going to be hard to find any other drinks

* Just ignore any ethics issues about how it's produced

@danielskatz I literally had Kool-aid once (because it was new to me), it made me sick, and I never had it again. Come to think of it, this has also been true figuratively in many instances
