Today in biting off more than you can chew. Got a load of mulch for the kid's/inlaws house. Way more than expected, and I have to get it off the sidewalk/street. 😬
I'm a dummy. It's off the street, at least.

Good news: I'm not dead, I have passed the "shovel stress test" and my heart is good 🤪

Other good news: that pile only has to move 3 feet, against the wall and spread out.

Bad news: I have no time to move this at all this week.

More bad news: absolutely soaked by the rain, it weights about 25 tons.

Anyway, lessons for today:

1. Don't take a full load of mulch
2. Don't take any mulch in the rain
3. Don't take mulch on a week you don't have the time to move that mulch.

@ai6yr This is a “Chip Drop” that I’ve had in my front yard for 6 months…still “chipping away” at it but now it is wet and soggy.
@JMaddox Oooh, wet and soggy. That makes it so much harder to move!! I was having issues, the part out in the street was already wet, and then it started pouring rain. Anyway, I cleared it to the curb and will deal with the rest later, lol.
