I give the Linux fans a hard time, but they're all genuinely lovely people. ❤ī¸

But seriously, what's the pipeline from Linux skeptic -> Linux user -> Linux fan -> Linux posting 25/7?

Is it unavoidable?

@mayintoronto I strongly believe it's possible to use Linux and remain in the Linux skeptic phase. You just need your skepticism of Microsoft, Apple and Google to be even stronger.
@mayintoronto Those of us who don't become constant Linux posters are many, but we're quiet and thus don't contribute to the impression of what Linux users are like.
@mayintoronto I'd answer this but first I want to discuss how awesome #Zirconium is with my friend @tulilirockz

@mayintoronto Started using Linux in 1996 or 1997. Linux and the majority of Linux users have changed a lot since then; almost all users now just *use* Linux and don't mention it too much if it just works for their use case, only talking about it if asked.

Which makes them far better advocates than the traditional FOSS loudmouths (who are still around, but haven't realized they're the minority users now).
This old Linux head thinks it's a welcome change.

@jf_718 But it's so much fun to meme on.
@mayintoronto yeah, pretty much, sorry about that
