PaulDavisTheFirst@adrianmester @jaykuo the FCC didn't threaten. the FCC chair mentioned that he was "thinking" about changing the rule; CBS complied in advance, for no required reason whatsoever.
[ EDIT: this is incorrect. The FCC chair said that it should no longer be assumed as "a given" that talk shows were not covered by the rule ]
