We didn't stop burning fossil fuels soon enough, so we have to pull a lot of CO2 back out of our atmosphere so this is nice to see.

I'm not a fan of using trees, other than willows and such that can be coppiced, for carbon drawdown. I prefer using annual or biannual plants to be converted into biochar.

A terrific use for biochar is as the deep bedding material in Miyawaki Forest planting.
