I have the controlplane somewhat working but there's a few Bird2 issues I need to work through first.
The VPP part seems to be doable ... so maybe later this year we'll have bird2+vpp+eVPN running
Next screenshot - synchronization between Bird and VPP is working. Still a lot of ground to cover, but methinks with this code a working point to point eVPN will work.
Next up: some small changes to the VPP API to make it easier to configure non-learning l2 interfaces; and then finally learning (from VPP) and programming (to VPP) the L2 fib.
And this is the first time (that I know of anyway) that anybody has done eVPN/VxLAN with Bird2 controlplane plugin, and using a VPP dataplane!
