Unfortunately the teams vetoed front axle regen bc Audi has experience from wec. Even when Audi offered to make it a spec part, they were still not interested. So this is their own doing

The team representatives at these meetings are surprisingly naive about technical things. Almost as if the teams send politicians instead of engineers.
