There’s no stopping it now. Passengers? Just about everyone. Everyone is proud of their ignorance and animosity, it’ll take a great war in order to cull enough of them to bring back sanity. Odds are you are affected. Odds are you and your friends are all part of the problem, even if you don’t realize it. What’s important is that better people can see it for what it is, so they can avoid it when the time is right. I’d give some advice, but if you can’t figure this out for yourself by now then there is probably no helping you.

This is the absolute worst take you can have on current issues. Worse even than “everything is fine” or “but the stock market!”

War is always a net negative for the species. We would be far better off as a planet if the victors in every war of the last 1000 years had managed to negotiate their outcome without a single casualty.

People are dumb, sure. But war absolutely won’t leave a smarter or wealthier population.
