@liaizon @mechasystems So far it doesn't look like the PCB design files are in that repo, only the schematics and 3D models. Which is still very cool (and I did back it myself) but it's not (yet?) like the Reforms where all the KiCad project files are available

@jfred @liaizon @mechasystems

Hey! We will be releasing all source files with the first production batch, the schematics and outer housing have been published already like you said.

@shoaibmerchant @jfred @mechasystems that's awesome to hear! Thanks for the clarification!

@shoaibmerchant @jfred @liaizon @mechasystems Excited backer here - can you also add a proper open license to https://github.com/mecha-org/mechanix-gui/issues/188 ?

Very excited!!

@milas @jfred @liaizon @mechasystems

Hey! I left a comment on the issue a day or two ago.

@shoaibmerchant @milas @jfred @mechasystems a license file at the root of your repos would still help a lot! I was also confused by this when I went to look at your project the first time. having the license file means that github displays it in the interface on the right sidebar like you have for other things like your build of u-boot

@liaizon @milas @jfred @mechasystems

Yes I completely agree, haven't done that because we haven't fully decided yet. I will do this soon. It will be under a permissive license, I am just trying to get some clarity between Apache 2.0, BSD 3-Clause.

@shoaibmerchant @milas @jfred @mechasystems awesome to hear! and thanks for your reply, really psyched to see the comet come out. (hello btw from a fellow oshw project https://mnt.re)
