Photographers out there, I’m looking for a solution to easily bring my camera, batteries pack, and one or two lenses with me while I’m shooting at events. I’d like to be able to put my camera in the bag easily when I don’t need it.

I consider buying a thigh bag, to have everything handy while I’m shooting.

I know it has a tacticool vibe but I don’t mind if it’s actually useful.

Anyone on the fediverse tried those?

@thibaultamartin I do have one and use it sometimes but not in combination with shooting, there I have/use a different one
@ShinIce what do you use this one for, and what do you use for shooting?

@thibaultamartin I send you later some pictures.

For the leg bag: it depends on what I'm doing, was also thinking to use it next year at FOSDEM to not have pockets overfilled

@thibaultamartin I haven't tried a leg bag, but my hack is that the shoulder straps of many camera bags can be shortened enough to create a fanny pack/belt bag, which can then be spun to be in the small of your back, or on the side, or is a convenient lens-changing height in front...

I normally use a Cotton Carrier harness for my going out with a birding lens, but looks like they have a cool harness/backpack combo now!
