Mr CreosoteI've started with #SlavesOfTheAbyss, #FightingFantasy 32. It looks straightforward at first glance: unstoppable army approaching, find and kill the bad guy to avoid total annihilation. Find the traitor at your own court. But there is much more going on in this book. People react weirdly to my presence. The enemy army is very different than expected. There are surreal nightmares. Absolutely fantastic so far!
Oh, I found the mask, nice! I like how this is never made explicit, but what has actually happened is totally understandable without handholding the reader through it.
