@GwenDragon solar wouldn't have helped. The main 48V battery is almost fully charged.
@SamP20 To be fair, mine has effectively two solar systems, one to power each set of batteries (traction and auxiliary). Works quite well. Notably, the panel to battery capacity ratio is much higher for the auxiliary battery so it's always charged if the traction has anything in it.
