I say this to every fucking elected Democrat making this argument whilst glaring pretty hard at Gavin Fucking Newsom specifically.
Anybody bloviating the vote-blue-no-matter-who argument to normal smart rational somewhat morally-ruddered human beings who have said Gavin Newsom fucking sucks - I just want to take this moment to emphasize something more influential and smarter people than me have already said:

If you would like this to NOT be an electoral issue, stop suggesting Gavin Newsom would be a good presidential candidate. It is really REALLY fucking that simple.

I draw some hope that this argument is going large across the party instead of simply being suppressed. People are mad at people like Hasan Piker for saying he wouldn't vote for Newsom, but I feel like that's as clear and fair a pre-warning about his unelectability as one can get
