I went to school to be a cop but quickly saw how fucking cliquey they are and anyone who wasn’t wasnt exactly like them isn’t accepted (I was a dumb kid, forgive me for actually wanting to help people,) so I changed career trajectories. Anyway, yes, thats what they tell you in school - when approaching a vehicle, press your thumb/hand whatever on the rear quarter panel in the event something happens to you, they can place you at the car to make a case against the owner/occupants.
