I am planing on buying a front door camera/lock combo similar to this.

Any suggestions for more privacy conscious alternatives?

From watching lockpicking lawyer, I’d say smart locks arnt that effective, I’d recommend just getting a camera and use frigate

Also, anyone looking to buy cameras or doorbells should check for the manufacturer or brand on Shodan to see if they’re compromised. If it’s a no-name cheap one, it almost certainly is or will be.
