Overview The City of Petersburg is an extremely small city of under 2,500 residents located within Pike County in the southwestern portion of the State of Indiana and serving as the county seat. The Edith Barrett Memorial History Center is the primary attraction associated with the county in any way, though the community can also be bypassed with Interstate 69 to the east and is located within the micropolitan area associated with the nearby City of Jasper.
