BREAKING: We’re dropping our agreement with the BC NDP.

To renew our agreement, we asked for material action.

Eby’s NDP plainly refused.

So we’d like to share a new agreement with YOU. We agree to fight for affordability, take on the establishment, and stand with the working people of BC, always.

I do have one slight issue here. Instead of proportional representation, divide BC into 19 mega-ridings instead of the 93 ridings we have now and do proportional representation in those mega-ridings. BC is large and I fear simple proportional representation will hurt regional representation.

Otherwise, fight like hell to push the province to the left.

The mixed members part don't feel like they are democratically elected. They feel like they are appointed by the party.

Also, with the mega-ridings idea, the odds of you having a MLA that you voted for is much, much higher. It has been more than 20 years since my MLA or MP was someone I voted for.

Yep.

Nobody truly likes FPTP, but no one can agree on the best alternative.
