The scammers had nothing to do with it, people don’t react so murderously to these things around the world. I certainly don’t agree with his actions, but reducing the entire thing to racist violence is misguided and ignores everything that happened leading up to her death.
You’re right, he’s also mentally unstable and generally amoral, period. Call the cops, lock yourself in, call a neighbour, idk, don’t just go looking for a confrontation because you have a gun and you can “win”. You’re just gonna shoot even though the person might be entirely innocent because there are almost 10 billion people in the world? You’re gonna shoot even though the UNARMED WOMAN feared for her life and begged you not to shoot?
For this, there are no excuses, besides the fact that no man in his condition should have such deadly weapons and that’s an American systemic issue.
