It's always wild to me that February marks the beginning of spring in many places. It's still very, very firmly winter here!
Also wild, and something I was talking about with my family yesterday, is that so many places still have bugs in the winter?? Like outside bugs, just going about their business! Very strange to us. 😆
The only bugs we ever get in the winter are the kinds of indoor ones you don't want: fruit flies and cloth moths and silverfish. Also cellar spiders but I don't mind those, they can hang out and eat the other bugs.
@idzie One of my readjustments in moving back from the Portland, Oregon area to San Francisco is that there are more, let's call them commensal insects, around.

@idzie spiders are guests in our house unless they get too big. Then we gently escort them outside.
