It’s been a while since I’ve purchased an instant pot, but my current one is broken and I need to replace it. I’ve been out of the loop as to what is accessible and what is the best model of instant pot to get these days. Are people still using the instant pot pro plus? Is the app still accessible and does it work with Alexa? Any instant pot tips one can give would be greatly appreciated.
@desertstar84 @technocounselor Hi. Last spring I recommended this for someone and she just loved it. It does connect to Wi-Fi and you can use the Instant Connect app with it. I don't know whether it connects to Alexa but you can control it from the app, to my understanding. Here is the Amazon listing: https://a.co/d/05GNmJfW

@desertstar84 @technocounselor In case that link didn't work, here's the name of the instant pot: Instant Pot PRO Max Wi-Fi Smart 10-in-1 Pressure Cooker, Steamer, Saute, Warmer, Rice Cooker, Yogurt Maker, Sous Vide, Baker, NutriBoost - Includes App with 2000+ Recipes - 6 Quart
@CreativeChris @technocounselor Thanks for the recommendation. I went ahead and ordered it. With my busy life, I'm beginning to realize how much I need a new instant pot.
@desertstar84 @technocounselor I purchased a pro+ a couple of months ago and love it. At the time of writing, the IOS app is completely accessible. When sautéing, you do need to manually start the device by pressing the start touch control on the lower right. This can sometimes be tricky due to the touch screen being extremely sensitive, but it's perfectly manageable. Everything else including all pressure cooking is automated with the app, completely hands off.
