It’s something I’ve never encountered: a boomer shooter that’s an unapologetic girl game.

And I mean, it goes hard into the pink Y2K aesthetic. You got pink everywhere. Flip phones. Bedazzled guns.

@atomicpoet Panty & Stockings is an Anime our son dug out for our evening watching and it had exactly the same crazy energy as this game, especially the new series. Something in the game video sounded very much like the anime theme song:

@Sylkeweb Don’t see anything similar in terms of visuals. In terms of audio, hyper pop is a pretty popular genre right now. I’ll reserve judgement till I hear more.

@atomicpoet yes, the visuals are pretty different but the vibe is the same. I had no idea that kind of music is called hyperpop. Maybe I need to explore that…
The show was a bit mad and totally unapologetically silly but very enjoyable.
