Reminder to be careful leaving batteries charging unattended.. woke up at 2:30 AM to the fire alarm and the dog crying because one of the rechargeable hand warmers combusted and stated a fire.

Now I am tired, threw away some melted cables and have a bunch of stuff to clean soot off.. R.I.P. my carpet but could've been a lot worse.

Also check your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms regularly, and have home fire extinguishers handy -- sure glad I did! 🔥🧯
