My dad has just found old photos of an art piece I did for TFL's Platform for Art. Just out of art school.

It was featured in the book of programme too https://art.tfl.gov.uk/projects/platform-for-art-art-on-the-underground/ and I'd forgotten that my art is in a book alongside some of my all time art-heros like Gary Hume, Cindy Sherman, Mark Wallanger

Platform for Art, Art on the Underground - Art on the Underground

Art on the Underground

I used to go and browse (narrator: he read them cover to cover) art books in the Piccadilly Waterstones and one day I rocked up and the book was in the middle of the art books being promoted, I litterally melted

Before I had a smartphone, so no pics. I'd forgotten all this

Ah memories! 🥲

Oh, yeah.. the photo would be good
Like an idiot I insisted on rendering it all at 300dpi, it was fucking massive. This was 2004 or 5 and made on terrible PCs in the artschools 'new media' lab. I made a change and waited 15 minutes before coming back to see if it was done. Photoshop 6 I believe and a warez pirated Cinema 4D (on my PC not the art school's)
