My teenage son's hair is very long (wannabe rock star) and gets incredibly tangled and he can't brush it (co-ordination difficulties) so I end up trying to get birds' nests out of it while he yells at me. But I bought a hairbrush that calls itself The No Knot Co Ultimate Detangler and it WORKS. I've just brushed three days of matting out of his hair and he didn't even say ouch. Love it when things work.

What kind of hair does your son have?
Mine doesn't have complicated to brush hair, but he can't bare the feeling…

@gboussard Thick and wavy. This brush is really flexible and I didn't think it would work but it sort of snakes its way through.

@eleanorrees @gboussard we have much the same problem, but our son's hair is straight, so I wonder if it would be as effective for him. Judging from the website, their products seem to be specialized for curly hair.
