this might be an ad for BuildKite which i have not tried and do not endorse, but pretty much anything sucks less than GitHub Actions

triple especially if you're an iOS dev; Microsoft broke our builders numerous times at my last job, no warning, no cutover date, just soft rollout of stuff with the wrong Xcode, SDKs, simulators, 3rd-party support gunk, etc.

@vyr There is a reason I'm a Jenkins shop. I _really_ do not want to be a Jenkins shop. But every CI system out there is bought on something that's a no-go for me.

@vyr as someone who works for them, this isn’t an ad cuz the writer doesn’t seem to know that we _also_ offer hosted agents for the small friends who don’t want to run their own build infra.
