The three greatest science documentary series of all time, according to me, a random person on the Internet:

- “The Ascent of Man”, 1973, hosted by Jacob Bronowski.

- “Connections”, 1978, hosted by James Burke.

- “Cosmos: A Personal Voyage”, 1980, hosted by Carl Sagan.

I haven’t seen anything since that touches the raw heights of these. All S Tier television that still holds up in 2026.

@tilton I love Connections. The paths of how things happen are always super fascinating, and from what I recall, his observations in the final episode are really interesting considering how things have gone since then...
