Personally, I think it’s a masterpiece. No notes. The people I’ve shown it to, on the other hand, have expressed different opinions.
Maybe it’s the movie equivalent of “acquired taste”. I loved it, even if the sound design gave me a headache, but I can’t imagine anyone who doesn’t already actively seek out strange movies enjoying it LOL
If it’s your thing then it’s perfection, top to bottom, but if it’s not your thing then it’s kind of a nauseating nightmare from what I’ve been told.
Reminds me of when I showed my ex Garth Marenghi’s Dark Place, the greatest tv event in world history, and her response was “I was waiting for it to be funny.”
