Journalist: "They are having emergency meetings." about X subject.

Me: Are they? What makes them emergency? Was there something else scheduled that was removed at the last minute to make room for it? How do you know it was about X subject? Who was in it?

I'm really getting tired of journalists not showing their work. THAT more than anything else makes me doubt what they say.

Journalism is incredibly difficult, and especially now it is so easy to make assumptions. Don't. Please. I need you.
